Monkey bread

An ooey-gooey delicious dessert that everyone will enjoy.

Ingredients:

  • 3 12 oz. cans Biscuit dough
  • 1 Cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 Tbsp Cinnamon
  • 1/2 Tsp Ground cloves
  • 1/2 Tsp Ground Nutmeg
  • 1/2 Tsp Ground ginger
  • 1 Cup Brown sugar
  • 1/2 Cup Butter
  • 1/2 Cup Walnuts

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Remove the biscuit dough from its packaging, divide each biscuit into 4 sections.
  2. Combine the granulated sugar and spices in a gallon ziploc bag.
  3. Add the pieces of dough to the bag 6-8 pieces at a time and shake until coated with the sugar mixture.
  4. In a greased Bundt pan, sprinkle in some walnuts (if desired) and then add the coated dough pieces.
  5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 until all of the dough has been added to the pan.
  6. In a small saucepan, combine and melt the butter and brown sugar and bring the mixture to a boil. Boil for 1 minute.
  7. Pour the butter mixture into the Bundt pan, make sure that is in evenly distributed over the dough.
  8. Bake for 35-40 minutes. Make sure to put a baking sheet under the pan in case the sugar boils over.
  9. Allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before flipping and removing the bread from the pan.
  10. Cool for an additional 5 minutes before serving.
